The ‘NOPOWER’ license plate carried from the Porsche to the Audi because once again, the new car is even slower than the last. This must be one of the surest signs of aging, that your choice of cars transitions from fast and fun to practical and lethargically slow. In it’s defense, the Audi had a broken wastegate arm at the time of purchase and that put solidly in the 18 second quarter mile range. Fixing that, adding the APR chip, swapping in the Forge BPV, and upgrading to the Milltek exhaust has moved the performance range into what I suspect is the high-14′s.
Four years and 60,000+ miles into ownership, it was time to head down a new path, this time back to a product of Japan.
